Reliable, high-speed connectivity enhances member and guest experience

Engadine, Michigan — Highline today announced the completion of a full fiber-optic internet deployment serving all cabins and administrative offices at the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club, bringing fast, reliable broadband connectivity to one of the region’s most treasured outdoor destinations.

The project ensures every cabin now has access to Highline’s world-class fiber internet, supporting streaming, remote work, safety communications, and modern conveniences—without compromising the club’s rustic setting or outdoor traditions.

“Providing fiber service to every cabin at Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club is a great example of how rural broadband can enhance experiences while respecting the natural environment,” said Bruce Moore, President and GM of Highline Midwest. “Our mission is to ensure that our customers are empowered to work, play and thrive in a connected world .”

For members and guests, the new fiber service means dependable connections for staying in touch with family, accessing work or school remotely, monitoring weather and safety conditions, and enjoying entertainment during downtime after a day outdoors.

“Highline understood our needs and worked closely with us to deliver a solution that fits our club,” said Joel Schultz, Manager of Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club. “This upgrade adds real value for our members and guests while keeping the spirit of the club intact.”

The Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club project reflects Highline’s continued commitment to expanding fiber-to-the-premise service across rural and recreational communities, ensuring equal access to essential digital infrastructure.
