Highline Launches 2Gig Speeds in Michigan!

May 18, 2023

ESCANABA, Mich.--Highline is pleased to announce the addition of our 2 Gigabit (2000 x 2000) product offering in the Upper Peninsula, Thumb area and the City of Escanaba markets. Highline is on target to complete construction over 32,000 Upper Peninsula and Thumb residential households while fulfilling our mission to address unserved, underserved and previously unhappily served residents by not only providing real high-speed internet service, but continuing to add additional products and services to homeowners.

“I love my new high-speed internet. I run a home-based business and paid very high premiums for spotty service. Now, I can stream video and presentations for all of my clients without any interruptions in service. This will definitely impact my business for the better. Thank you, Highline!”

“Highline is fulfilling our promise to construct and provide high-speed Internet to over 50,000 households in Michigan, and we feel that the needs of many residents will be better met with our new bundle plans that allows working, streaming and gaming to be fulfilled with 2 Gigabit speeds. These symmetrical download and upload speeds will allow residents to work from home, stream multiple devices, and compete on any game,” shared Highline’s CEO Layne Levine. “We hear the needs of Michigan residents and want to provide the services that they require, and also deliver these services with superior customer service experience that has been missing from Service Providers of the past”.

Highline installed our first customer October 2021 and by the end of 2023 we will have thousands of happy customers in 10 different counties including Sanilac, Tuscola, St. Clair, Lapeer, Mackinac, Chippewa, Schoolcraft, Delta, Menominee, Dickinson, Iron and Gogebic counties,” said Bruce Moore, Highline’s CEO-Midwest.

Highline’s symmetrical Gigabit Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) or Home (FTTH) service has been life-changing to customers. “I love my new high-speed internet. I run a home-based business and paid very high premiums for spotty service. Now, I can stream video and presentations for all of my clients without any interruptions in service. This will definitely impact my business for the better. Thank you, Highline!” Jean Hoeft, Gladstone, MI

“The internet is FAST. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen internet this quick in my life yet. Absolutely incredible, really brought my house out of the stone-age. That fiber optic is something else! I appreciate your company’s professionalism and hope to keep Highline as my internet provider for years to come. THANK YOU HIGHLINE!” John Soper III, Escanaba, MI
